SPRINGHOUSE, Hopewell Village National Historic Site,
near Birdsboro, Pa. Used to preserve dairy products and
other perishables, this was an important outbuilding of
the Ironmaster's Mansion at this early iron-making village
now being restored by the National Park Service.
