| Built in 1746, the Bell House occupies the key position among the historic building on Church Street. In the bell tower the Moravians hung three bells; one to strike the hours, the others the quarters. In the base of the tower is a brass clock, completed in 1747 which still ticks away the hours. Note the reinforcing buttresses. |
