Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey
Built by Public Service Electric and Gas Company,
each of Salem's two nuclear reactors can produce
as much as 1,100,000 kilowatts. Nuclear energy
is expected to supply at least half of America's
electric power needs by the year 2000.
