Princeton University crews on the waters
of Carnegie Lake, with the class of 1887 Boat
House in the background. The lake 3½ miles
long, has a straightaway racing course 134
miles in length. Formed by damming the
Millstone River, it was given by Andrew
Carnegie in 1906.
