Danforth Chapel on the C.S.U. campus was dedicated May 30, 1954. It is non-denominational. The design reflects the effort to attain an aesthetic environment conducive to religious contemplation. This chapel is truly unique from its native stone floors and blown glass window to the beaten copper doors. A handwritten message on the back of the card reads: "Hello Florence: After returning from state job change out here in Ft. Collins. Taking a 2 credit in Summer School. Enjoying thoroughly the experience. The weather did Mt's are wonderful. Do hope our paths will cross this is well with you this all wonderful family - and that we will. Love - Pearlie" |
