DISCOVERY OF THE HUDSON RIVER-
THE HALVE MAENE-The Half Moon was the
ship in which Henry Hudson discovered the Hudson
River. It was only about fifty-nine feet long on the
water line.
Henry Hudson was set adrift in Hudson's Bay in
June, 1611, by his mutinous crew, and with a few
companions met an unknown fate.
