HAINES CITY MOTOR COURT
U.S. 1792 HAINES
Where the orange groves reach in splendor
To the East and to the West
Where traveler from the Northlands
Find the sun's rays are the best.
Where the tall palm trees in winter
Reach away toward the rising Sun,
There the traveler likes to settle
When his driving is all done.
At the Haines City Court
He will find such peace and rest,
There the cabins are the cleanest
And the bedding is the best.
There's a happy tide of patrons
That forever come and go
And they often like to linger;
Such delight they seldom know.
For not far from this court
Are lakes where fish abound
There's Bok Tower in its splendor
And some choicest hunting ground.
But he wanders back 'ere nightfall
To his cottage clean and bright.
Give thanks for all these pleasures
And a place that is all right.
