The replica of Ulm Cathedral on exhibit in the Hall
of Religion of A Century of Progress, Chicago, is 934
hand carved from maple and holly wood. It con
tains 4300 pieces fitted together. It is 9 feet L
high, 8 feet long, 40 inches wide, equipped with
lights, art glass windows, and chimes. Seven years
of painstaking labor were devoted by Gust Mrosek
of Chicago, Illinois, the builder of this model.
