KINGMAN, ARIZONA. The town is built on the sloping
land between the Hualpai, Cerbat, and Black Mountains.
US Highway 66 follows Front Street which has business
on one side and the Santa Fe Railway on the other. Since
1882 this western town has been the county seat of Mojave
county, which contains over three hundred thousand acres
but derives most of its income from lode mines and with
the building of Davis and Boulder Dam, tourists have come
to Kingman . . . M.P.
