MOJAVE, CALIFORNIA
Mojave is best known as the spot where J.W.S. Perry
built ten huge wagons, in 1883, to haul borax out of
Death Valley drawn by 20-mule teams. For five years
these conveyances plied between Death Valley and
Mojave without a single breakdown. There are
modern cafes and motels along the main street that
makes its way to the High Sierras..M.P.
