A view of Carson Street in Carson City, Nevada. The Senator Cafe is visible on the right, with dice and a playing card motif. Cars are parked along the street, and a yellow truck is visible on the left. The text on the back reads:
Carson City, the smallest state capital city in America, was named after the famous pioneer scout, Kit Carson. The town was originally a trading post on the Overland Route and was laid out as a town site in 1853. It was through the efforts of its founder, Abraham Curry that the state capital was moved from Genoa. The main Capital building was completed in 1872.
