STATE NORMAL SCHOOL, Salem, Mass. Erected
1896 of buff colored brick. Contains a "Practice School"
for 450 children from its immediate neighborhood and
instructs in Kindergarten, Primary and Grammar
Grades. Tuition is free to residents of Mass. who in-
tend to become teachers in its public schools. The
view from the roof of the building is magnificent and
commands the surrounding country.
