SILVANA MANGANO in a Piero Tosi costume of the high style of 1911 plays a prosperous Polish mother in
"Death in Venice," the new Luchino Visconti production for Warner Bros. Tosi designed between 600 and
650 costumes for the picture, all of them reflecting the opulence of the time. Besides Miss Mangano, the film
stars Dirk Bogarde and Bjorn Andresen.
