The Oldest House, also known as the González–Alvarez House, is a historic house museum in St. Augustine, Florida. It is located on St. Francis Street, just north of the Castillo de San Marcos. The house is operated by the St. Augustine Historical Society. The house is a two-story structure with a coquina first floor and a wooden second floor. The house has a balcony on the second floor. The house is surrounded by a garden. There are three flags flying above the house: the United States flag, the Confederate flag, and the Spanish flag. |
