HITTING TIPS
1) Be sure you choose the bat that is right for
your swing. Don't use a bat because some-
one else does.
2) Grip Most players line up both sets of
knuckles when gripping the bat. Some sepa-
rate their hands a little, which gives more
swing control.
3) Stance Your weight should be more on
the balls of your feet than on your heels.
Position yourself comfortably.
4) Eyes You must be able to find or see the
ball the moment it is released from the
pitchers hand and you must keep it in view
all the way in.
5) Swing The ideal swing is a level one.
Remember to drive your front shoulder to-
ward the pitcher.
