No particular reason, but it seems to be the
thing to do this time of the year
Because you sent me one last year, and I'm
afraid you'll do the same this year
Just received one from you, so am sending this in
a spirit of retaliation, although it may not
reach you until long after Christmas
I am sending you this Christmas greeting
solely for business reasons
I just couldn't afford to buy fancy Christmas
cards this year
Now wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year for the next thirty years, thereby saving
myself much bother, not to mention thirty
Christmas cards and thirty postage stamps
