BOSTON LIGHT. The veteran light of the Atlantic
Coast. First lighted, 1716; last rebuilt, 1788. On southeast
side of Little Brewster Island at the main entrance to Boston
Harbor. Shows a flashing white light every thirty seconds.
A landmark for seamen during two centuries.
