The Navaho Indians are the principal blanket weavers in the various Indian tribes of the south west. The art of blanket weaving among the Navahos was probably learned from the Pueblo Indians, some three or four hundred years ago, and the Navahos, being a shrewd, business-like people developed the art until today they are the most skilled Indian weavers in the world.
