athey.
Saturday afternoon our tourists enjoyed
surf bathing at The Beach of Waikiki. In
the evening a delightful Dinner Dance was
given in their honor at the splendid Royal
Hawaiian Hotel, and special Hula Dances
for their pleasure on the festive-lighted
Hotel lawn.
Yesterday at Hilo on the Island of Hawaii
an automobile excursion to the Volcano of
Kilavea was much enjoyed.
Then on the return to Hilo they listened
to the plunk-plunk of ukeleles and guitars,
felt the pang of the plaintive Hawaiian songs
in their proper setting, and returned to their
luxurious travel home with hearts throbbing
to the pulsating rhythm of the bewitching
hula-hula.
Now for the United States of America!
