The Green Dover

| Historic tree-shaded Dover Green, ordered laid out but William Penn in 1683. From here the Delaware Regiment marched off to the north of the Declaration of Independence. Fairs and markets were held here in years gone by, but on Dover Days maypole dances, the minuet and eighteenth century games take their place. |
