MARYLAND STATE CAPITOL
Annapolis, Md.
Built in 1772, this Colonial State House serves as
the seat of the State Legislature today. It is the
oldest such structure in America still in daily use.
Within this building, George Washington resigned
as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Forces
and the Treaty of Peace with England was ratified
by the Continental Congress.
