| Built in 1721, one of America's oldest Episcopal churches, Wye Church was restored in 1949 under direction of the supervising architect of Colonial Williamsburg. The white oak in the center, nearly 400 years old, is one of the nation's largest with a trunk diameter of about 8 feet. On the left is the parish house. |
