The St. Louis City Hall, located on 12th and 16134
Market Streets, facing Memorial Plaza, was con-
structed from 1890 to 1904 at a cost of $1,650,000
The style of the architecture is an adaptation of
French Romanesque.
It is one of the outstanding buildings of its kind
that could hardly be duplicated today.
