Oklahoma's capitol building, built of classic
Greek and Roman architecture, was commenced
on July 20, 1915 and completed on June 30, 1917.
It represents a total value of $5,000,000. It
houses the important state offices and halls for
state occasions, and on many of its walls are
famous murals.
