This beautiful building is conservative modern
in style with limestone exterior. It was designed
in the Office of Mr. Nathan C. Wyeth, Municipal
Architect, Washington, D. C., and was completed
in May 1941. The Ceramic Murals were executed
oby Miss Hildreth Meiere and Mr. Waylande Gregory
and the Sculptured Blocks in Central Plaza were
executed by Mr. John Gregory and Mr. Lee Lawrie,
both of New York City.
