The Graduate College, residential feature
of the Princeton Graduate School, was the first
building in this country to be devoted to grad-
uate-student residence, Adjoining its main gate
is the 173-foot Cleveland Tower erected by public
subscription as a memorial to President Cleve-
land, a resident of Princeton and a Trustee of the
University, and dedicated, as was the Graduate
College, in 1913. In the tower is hung the Class
of 1892 Memorial Carillon.
