George Washington's Headquarters during the Revolutionary War. Built between 1772 and 1774 by Col. Jacob Ford, it was the residence of General and Mrs. Washington in the winter of 1779-80. It is now a part of Morristown National Park and is open to the public. Directly behind the Mansion and on the same grounds is the Historical Museum which contains a large collection of Material relating of Washington.
