This building is erected on property originally owned by Chief Justice John Marshall, one of Virginia's most distinguished statesmen. The total cost was $750,000.00 and is a model of modern school architecture. The building was designed by Chas. K. Bryant, Architect, Richmond, Va. The old John Marshall House stands on the southeast corner of the school campus, and is used as the permanent home of the Association for Preservation of Virginia Antiquities. |
