The five large grain elevators, the adjoining mill, and the office and storage quarters represent the plant of the Shenandoah Milling Company, one of the largest industries in the town of Shenandoah. The business is the outgrowth of M. A. Roudabush & Son, who originally operated a water-power mill on the Shenandoah River. The present plant is the second oldest roller process mill in the famous Shenandoah Valley, and manufactures the well known “Stonewall Jackson” self-rising, “Shenandoah” self-rising, and “Robert E. Lee” brands of flour. |
