The 717' high x 3300' wide Dworshak Dam creates a 53 mile long, multi-use lake on the North fork Clearwater River. The Dworshak National Fish Hatchery (World's largest Steelhead Hatchery) occupies the unique point of land at the confluence. The community of Riverside, along U.S. Hwy. 12, (foreground) is built on the famous Canoe Camp Site of the Lewis & Clark Expedition in 1805.
