The Duke University Libraries are essential to the scholarly life of the university. Perkins Library and the branch libraries—Biological and Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, DOSS, Engineering, Lilly, Math/Physics, Music, and Special Collections—provide an astonishing array of the latest scholarly journals and multi-media resources. Lilly Library, pictured here, is home to the media center and the collections in Art and Art History, Drama, Philosophy, and Dance. It also contains a general reference collection which is most convenient to residents of the first-year campus. Funds from the Duke Annual Fund ensure that the libraries' doors are open with maximum availability, individual assistance from professional information specialists, up-to-date subscriptions, and the most serviceable on-line search software. |
