THE AUDITORIUM
The Town Hall proper is elliptical in plan with two
levels of tiered seating surrounding a level central
floor and the orchestral stage. Primarily a symphony
concert hall the design enables a great variety of
public assembly purposes. The Auditorium seats
audience of 2,327, a choir of 400 and the stage area
accommodates an orchestra of 120 players. The acoustic
qualities are of top world class standard and have
an international reputation for the Auditorium.
Encircling the main auditorium are two levels of
promenade foyers.
