Vitznau is situated on the heights overlooking the
picturesque shores of the Lake of Lucerne. It is the
terminus of the Rigi Railway, and consequently a much
visited place. The view of the lake includes the pro-
montories of the Nasen, known respectively as the Ober
Nase and the Untere Nase.
