The saga of the west is one of transportation. The early emigrants pushed west by oxen team. The wagons carried all their earthly possessions. History records the hardships that these early people had on their trek west: Caravans of Donner, Fremont, Stevens - Murphy party, the Jayhawkers led by Manly and the Mormons that came from Salt Lake City to lay out the city of San Bernardino, Calif. in June of 1851. |
