THE NEW LIBRARY, a gift to Wheaton College, Wheaton,
Illinois, by an anonymous donor, was completed in 1952.
Its three stories are completely air-conditioned with clear
paneled thermopane windows. It houses approximately
100,000 volumes in four levels of book-stacks and con-
tains reading rooms, a typing room, a microfilm room,
seminar and reference rooms and a student browsing
