WASHINGTON'S HEADQUARTERS AT VALLEY
FORGE is in a most excellent state of preservation
and to-day has the same doors, windows, locks etc.,
which were here when it was occupied by Wash-
ington. It was built prior to 1768. Valley Forge
is located 15 miles from Philadelphia and is one
of America's Patriotic Shrines. Here Washington
was encamped with the Continental Army in 1777
and 1778.
