Entrance gate into Point Park, Lookout Mountain,
Chattanoogn, Tenn. This gate was erected by the
Government in 1905 as a suitable entrance to historic
ground which was first occupied by Confederate artil-
lery, but after the "Battle Above the Clouds" by U.S.
troops under Gen'l. Hooker. Visitors can climb to
top of Turrett and get a magnificent view.
