An imposing granite shaft 76 feet tall to commem-
orate the brave deeds of Buckeye soldiers in the
battle of Lookout Mountain on Nov. 24, 1863. Ohio
Regiments in battle were the 2d, 5th, 7th, 24th,
29th, 33, 40th, 51st, 66th, 76th, 94th and 99th. The
18th Independent Battery on Moccasin Point did
good work also.
