| Ocean Beach is about three miles south of the city. The beach proper is a little over 1/4 mile in length, with a long row of cottages facing it, and is fine for bathing. The view from the beach includes Fishers Island, the Plant Mansion at Eastern Point, Montauk, Plum Island and Race Rock. |
