Graeme Park
Additional Details:
Build as a malthouse in 1721-22 by Provincial Governor William Keith, this historic structure in 1739 became the country residence of Dr. Thomas Graeme, after whom it took its name. During the Revolution it served briefly as the headquarters of General Anthony Wayne. Distinguished for its fine paneling, the structure is remarkable in having remained virtually unchanged since the Colonial era. A property of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. |
