UNDERSEA EXPLORER - The research submarine Star III probes wreckage with its mechanical arm while conducting geological surveys in the Bahamas. The two-man vehicle is owned and operated by the Elec- tric Boat division of General Dynamics, Groton, Conn. and is available for undersea research mis- sions.
