STATE CAPITOL, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE Tennessee State Capitol Building was erected in 1845-1853 at a cost of $2,500,000. The architectural idea is that of a Greek lonic Temple. On the terrace grounds are several handsome pieces of statuary.
