Montauk Point

| Montauk point state park is one of the state parks under the jurisdiction of the long island state park commission. This park is about seven miles east of the quaint fishing village of montauk and is located at the very tip of the montauk peninsula. It marks the extreme end of long island, 132 Miles from new York city. At the very tip stands the octagonal tower of Montauk point lighthouse, built in 1795. |
