Built in 1889, this MIDDLEVILLAGE CHURCH is
the third to be built on this location, the first
being built by Ignasius, a Jesuit Missionary,
in 1742, at WAW-GO-NOW-KI-SA, which in Indian
language means CROOKED TREE.
