This section together with the rest of the New
County Pavement and the road on down the East Coast
has become a part of the “Montreal Miami Highway"
and later "The Dixie Highway,
There are sixty miles of brick in St. Johns County,
Running from one end of the County to the other. It, the
road, traverses the greatest Irish Potato Growing section
in the United States. Millions of Barrels of select stock
are shipped out for the early market each year. It also
traverses the best and largest corn and dairy section in
the State of Florida.
