trucks, plus two interurban tracks on lower deck. Ship
clearance is 200 to 218 feet above the surface of low

Cable consists of 37 strands containing 472 wires each,
a total of 17,464 wires total length of wire, 70,000 miles.
Diameter of cable, 285/8 inches; weight of cable per
foot, 1,750 pounds. Total weight of cable wire, 18,000
tons.
