San Francisco's Chinatown is truly a city within a city,
and is by far the largest settlement of its kind in ý
America. Local inhabitants, as well as travelers, never
seem to tire of the lure that attracts them to this sec-
tion. Many bazaars and stores cover blocks with a real
Chinese Theatre, their own telephone exchange, news-
papers printed in Chinese, temples, restaurants, etc.,
crowd the narrow streets.
