the copper cables of the Boulder Dam-Los
Angeles transmission line extend across the
desert in great thousand foot spans, crossing
plains and skirting mountain peaks to reach
the coast. In this wild setting, the beautiful
yucca rears skyward in colorful contrast to
man's handiwork.
