Viewing the Battle of Bunker Hill. By reinforcement from England and Ireland, General Gages Army in Boston, at the close of May, 1775, was 10000 strong. General Gage had fixed the night of the 18th of June to take possession and fortify Bunker hill, The Provincials ordered Col. William Prescott to march on the evening of the 16th, with 1000 men, to take possession and fortify Bunker Hill.
