Additional Details:
Serves vocational education in 17 areas of training for business and industry, and was the Timken Foundation. The new school was completed in 1939 on the site of old Central High. This half acre plot has been in continuous use for educational purposes since the early 1800's. The school colors are blue and gold, the athletic teams are known as the trogons and the school annual is called the T I V O. The function of T.V.H.S. was aptly described by Mr. H. H. Timkin, Sr., founder of the Timken Foundation "To fit particularly the young people who do not and can not go to college, to be in a better position to gain a livelihood."
